The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 5-foot-7, 140-pound senior won his second-straight state title this past season, clocking a state record time of 16:00 and breaking the tape 41 seconds ahead of his next-closest competitor. In doing so, Millare led the Na Menehune to a second-place finish as a team. He also won the Oahu Interscholastic Association Eastern Division Championships and the OIA Championships.
Millare has maintained a 3.49 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to run at George Mason University this fall.
Millare has volunteered locally as a middle school track meet marshal and has donated his time to multiple community service initiatives through his church.
