Athletic Excellence


The 6-foot-3, 145-pound junior raced to his second consecutive Class 5A individual state championship this past season with a time of 15:04. The state’s returning Gatorade Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year, Morris crossed the line third at the national Foot Locker Cross Country Championships in 15:25.1, earning All-American honors, and took eighth at the Foot Locker South Regional championships. He also posted victories at the District 4 championships, the Region 1 championships, the Marcus 1 Invitational and the Cowtown Challenge.

Academic Achievement


Morris has maintained a 3.82 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.

Exemplary Character


Morris has volunteered locally on behalf of an animal shelter, and has collected athletic equipment for underprivileged Kenyan athletes.
