“Gracie Brown is one of the most respectable and hard-working players I’ve ever seen. Gracie’s leadership of her teammates went far beyond the field. Her tenacity on the field is a trait that many opposing teams feared throughout the season.”

Head Coach - head coach of Morgantown High

Athletic Excellence

The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 5-foot-4 senior forward led the Mohigans to a 17-1-2 record and a second straight Class AAA state championship this past season. Brown scored 26 goals and passed for nine assists, recording eight multi-goal games including four hat tricks. The two-time West Virginia High School Soccer Coaches Association Class AAA Player of the Year—and the younger sister of 2019-20 Gatorade State Girls Soccer Player of the Year Sammie Brown—she concluded her prep soccer career with 69 goals and 45 assists.

Academic Achievement

Brown has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer on scholarship at Auburn University this fall.

Exemplary Character

Brown has volunteered locally as part of multiple community service initiatives through her school’s Key Club, and she has donated her time as a youth soccer coach and mentor.
