The 5-foot-4 freshman raced to the NMAA Class 5A state title this past season with a time of 17:34.7, dominating the pace to win by 66 seconds and leading the Eagles to the team championship. Rahmer took 27th at the Nike Cross Southwest Regional in 17:36.7, the top finish by a New Mexico runner. She also finished third at the Desert Twilight meet in Arizona with a season-best clocking of 17:25.1.
Rahmer has maintained a weighted 4.05 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her sophomore year of high school this fall.
An active participant in the Best Buddies program at her school, Rahmer is a devoted member of her church community, on behalf of which she has participated in multiple community service endeavors.
