Athletic Excellence

The 5-foot-8, 135-pound senior forward led the Hawks to a 22-1 record and the program’s first Class 5A state championship this past season. Kraenzel scored 23 goals and passed for 11 assists, recording a point in all but one game. A three-time All-State selection, he was the state’s only boys United Soccer Coaches All-American selection in 2024.

Academic Achievement

Kraenzel has maintained a 3.82 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play soccer at University of the Incarnate Word (Texas) this fall.

Exemplary Character

Kraenzel has volunteered locally at the El Caldito Soup Kitchen, an organization that prepares and serves meals to people in need. He has also donated his time mentoring and reading to local elementary school students.
