The 6-foot-3, 225-pound senior outfielder powered the Patriots (34-14-1) to the Class 5A state championship this season. Hines hit .438 with 20 home runs, 58 RBI and 66 runs scored. Ranked as the state’s No. 3 prospect in the Class of 2025 by Perfect Game and selected for the 2024 Dick’s Sporting Goods All-American Classic, he launched his 20th home run in Game 2 of the Class 5A state championship series, a pivotal swing that extended the series and set up his team’s title-clinching win.
Hines has maintained a B average in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play baseball to play baseball at the University of Alabama this fall.
A devoted parishioner at the Narrow Way Church, Hines has volunteered as an usher, finance committee member and emergency service team member for the congregation. He has also donated his time by mentoring elementary school students.
