At the time of her selection, the 5-foot-8 senior point guard had led the Wranglers to a 22-2 record and a berth in the Class 3A state quarterfinals. Bowers averaged 26.5 points, 4.4 steals, 4.3 assists and 4.1 rebounds through 24 games. A three-time Class 3A First Team All-State selection, Bowers is also a two-time Class 3A West Division Player of the Year. She entered the state quarterfinals with 2,193 points in her prep basketball career, which ranks No. 3 on the state’s all-time list.
Bowers has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom and ranks No. 1 in her class. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play basketball at Eastern Washington University this fall.
A talented artist who enjoys making ceramics and pottery, Bowers has volunteered locally with Pinedale’s Soup-er-Bowl, serving as emcee and auctioneer for the fundraiser to benefit the Pinedale Angel Wreath program. She has also donated her time as a peer mentor and as a youth basketball coach.
