SHOT PUT CAREER BEST
“Dylan is the fiercest competitor and greatest athlete that I have ever coached. His best performances were always in high-pressure meets with tough competition. His national championship in the shot put was won on his very last attempt—which is a testament to his mental toughness.”

Targgart also won the shot put and the discus at the Division 2 outdoor state meet in 2019 and won gold in the shot put at the 2019 New Balance Nationals Outdoor with a career-best throw of 69-4.25, which ranked No. 3 nationally last spring among preps.
