The 6-foot junior hurdler, jumper and sprinter won three state titles this past season and set personal-best marks in five events, leading the Owls to third place as a team at the state meet. In addition to breaking the tape in the 100 and 300 hurdles and winning the long jump, Look also placed in two other individual events—third in the 200 and fourth in the high jump—and anchored Mid-Pacific’s sixth-place 4x100 relay quartet. The state’s returning Gatorade State Player of the Year, she clocked a PR of 42.28 in the 300 hurdles at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational and came away with bronze in that event’s heptathlon. At the ILH Championships, she soared a personal-best 18 feet, 7.75 inches and cleared a personal-best 5-7 in the high jump.
Look has maintained a 3.61 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school in the fall.
Look has volunteered locally on behalf of the Hawaii Humane Society in Honolulu, caring for shelter animals and serving as a foster owner for dogs. She has also donated her time to coaching and mentoring youth athletes at her track club.
