The 6-foot, 160 pound senior defender and forward led the Champs (7-11) all the way to the Division 1 state title game this past season. Alfani scored 11 goals and passed for 6 assists, scoring 4 and two, respectively, in the postseason. He played multiple positions on the year, moving between center back, outside back and wing. Alfani was directly involved in 89 percent of his team’s goals last fall. Also the Free Press Journal Player of the Year, he was Vermont’s sole boys representative on the 2024 United Soccer Coaches All-American squad.
Alfani has maintained a B average in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play soccer at Saint Michael’s College this fall.
Alfani has volunteered locally on behalf of Colchester Parks and Recreation Department Camp as a counselor and youth soccer coach. He has also participated in multiple community service initiatives in association with his club soccer team.
