The 5-foot-10, 160-pound senior won the 300-meter dash in 35.64 seconds at the 2020 Division 1 indoor state meet, while also anchoring the 4x200 relay quartet to victory this past winter. Seleny took second in the 55 hurdles in 7.57, which ranked as the nation’s No. 44 performance among prep indoor competitors in 2020. He led the 4x200 relay foursome to second place at the New England Indoor Championships in a state-record time of 1:31.05. He also won both the 200 dash and the 300 hurdles outdoors at the 2019 state Meet of Champions.
Seleny has maintained a B average in the classroom. He will attend Norwich University, where he will compete in track and field.
Seleny has volunteered locally on behalf of food-donation drives, campus clean-up initiatives, and youth soccer and track programs.
