Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound senior right-handed pitcher and shortstop was a Rawlings-Perfect Game 2020 Preseason Honorable Mention All-Northeast Region selection and is ranked as New England’s No. 9 prospect in the Class of 2020 by Prep Baseball Report. Hujsak led the Grizzlies (11-9) to the Division 1 quarterfinals in 2019, posting a 5-1 record with a 2.07 ERA, surrendering 31 hits and 17 walks in 44 innings pitched, while striking out 67 batters. A three-time All-State selection, he also batted .400 with three home runs, 14 RBI and 21 runs scored.

Academic Achievement

Hujsak has maintained a B average in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at Virginia Commonwealth University.
