Athletic Excellence


The 5-foot-8, 130-pound junior raced to the Class 5A individual state championship this past season with a course-record time of 15:16.1. The state’s returning Gatorade Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year, Sprout won the Nike Cross Nationals Southwest Regional championships with a time of 14:39.1, and crossed the line third at the national NXN Final, earning All-American honors. He also broke the tape at the Liberty Bell Invitational, the Region 2 championships and the Desert Twilight Festival.

Academic Achievement


Sprout has maintained a 3.98 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.

Exemplary Character


Sprout has volunteered locally on behalf of a soup kitchen and Operation Christmas Child, and has participated in a mission trip to a Mexican orphanage.
