The 6-foot-2, 195-pound senior outfielder and right-handed pitcher batted .490 with four home runs and 18 RBI through 16 games, leading the Golden Trojans (18-1) to the Class A state tournament, scheduled to begin June 7. Bowker also drew 17 walks and scored 29 runs. The state’s No. 3 prospect in the Class of 2022 as ranked by Perfect Game, he also compiled a 6-0 record on the mound with a 0.48 ERA and 74 strikeouts in 44 innings pitched.
Bowker has maintained a 4.03 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at Georgetown University this fall.
Bowker has volunteered locally on behalf of multiple community service initiatives in association with the National Honor Society and has donated his time as a youth baseball coach.
