The 5-foot-7 junior shortstop led the Falcons to a 25-2 record and the Class 4A state championship this past season. Kline produced a .750 batting average with 12 doubles, six triples, eight home runs, 53 runs scored, 39 runs batted in and a 1.272 slugging percentage. She compiled a state-record 69 hits with 24 multi-hit games, and her 148 career hits is just 18 shy of the state record. The 2017 Anne Arundel County Player of the Year, she carries a 32-game-hit streak into her senior season and has been held hitless just six times in her high school career.
Kline has maintained a weighted 3.80 GPA in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to play softball on scholarship at the University of Maryland beginning in the fall of 2019.
Kline has volunteered locally as a peer tutor and as a youth softball coach.
