The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 6-foot-3 senior setter recorded 730 assists and 188 digs this past season, leading the Marlins (31-3) to the Division 1 regional semifinals. Flynn also compiled 131 kills, 52 blocks and 36 service aces while posting a .394 hitting percentage at net. She was a member of the U.S. Under-21 Women’s National Team that won the gold medal at the NORCECA Championships this summer and is ranked as the nation’s No. 4 recruit in the Class of 2025 by PrepDig.com. She concluded her prep volleyball career with 1,973 assists and 737 kills.
Flynn has maintained a 3.94 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play volleyball at the University of Nebraska this fall.
Flynn has volunteered locally with PB&J Ministries, preparing and repackaging food for a men’s shelter serving the homeless population in Detroit. She has also donated her time with the Salvation Army and as a youth volleyball coach. In addition, Flynn is a member of both her school’s Healthy Habits Club and Stars and Stripes Club, which educates students on the hardships faced by families in war zones.
