The 6-foot-1, 205-pound senior catcher and right-handed pitcher led the Bobcats (32-10) to the Class 4A state quarterfinals this past season, batting .408 with seven home runs and 40 RBI. The state’s returning Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year, Harris also posted a 3-1 record on the mound with a 1.07 ERA, striking out 63 batters in 32.2 innings pitched, while walking just 13. A three-time member of the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association Super Team, he is also a Rawlings-Perfect Game 2020 Preseason Second Team All-American.
Harris has maintained a 3.76 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at the University of Mississippi.
Harris has volunteered locally on behalf of a pediatric hospital and youth sports programs.
