Athletic Excellence


The 5-foot-9 junior right-handed pitcher led the Wildcats (33-2) to the Class 5A state championship this past season, posting a 23-1 record with a 0.65 ERA. McCubbin struck out 178 batters and walked just 18 in 140 innings pitched. The Georgia Dugout Club Player of the Year and the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Class 5A Pitcher of the Year, she also batted .412 with 12 home runs and 50 RBI.

Academic Achievement


McCubbin has maintained an A average in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.

Exemplary Character


A member of her school’s Future Farmers of America chapter, McCubbin has volunteered locally on behalf of youth softball programs.
