The 5-foot-10 freshman right-handed pitcher led the Riverhawks to a 30-1 record and a Class 4A state championship this past season. Gardiner compiled a 27-1 record on the mound with a 0.78 ERA, surrendering just 69 hits in 162.1 innings while striking out 246 batters. She also batted .532 with nine home runs and 55 RBI to produce an OPS of 1.570. Gardiner enjoyed a 32-inning scoreless streak during Ridgeline’s 2024 state tournament run while also leading the team in hitting (.640 average) throughout the postseason. She limited opposing batters to a .125 average this spring.
Gardiner has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her sophomore year of high school this fall.
Gardiner has volunteered locally as youth softball pitching instructor. She has also donated her time playing guitar for residents at assisted living facilities in Logan, Utah.
