Athletic Excellence


The 5-foot-7 senior first baseman was named the best player in the state by MaxPreps.com during the 2020 preseason. Goelz backed that up during the Mustangs’ 8-0 start this spring, posting a .591 batting average with 13 runs batted in, 10 runs scored, seven extra-base hits and a 1.273 slugging percentage before the season was cancelled. A three-time Miracle Sports Class 8A Offensive Player of the Year, Goelz is ranked as the nation’s No. 4 recruit in the Class of 2020 by Extra Inning Softball. She concluded her prep softball career with 157 hits, 142 runs scored, 130 RBI, 29 home runs and a 1.094 slugging percentage.

Academic Achievement


Goelz has maintained a weighted 4.25 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play softball on scholarship at the University of Florida.

Exemplary Character


An aspiring lawyer, Goelz has participated in shadow sessions with local attorneys. She has also volunteered locally on behalf of Lakewood Ranch’s Positive Coaching Alliance and as a youth softball coach.
