The 5-foot-3 senior midfielder and defender scored 18 goals and passed for six assists this past season, leading the Rams (12-3-1) to the Class A state quarterfinals. A three-time Southern Maine Athletic Association Class A Regional All-Star, Connolly was the 2024 SMAA Midfielder of the Year. A United Soccer Coaches All-American honoree, she concluded her prep soccer career with 56 goals and 24 assists.
The winner of the Harvard Book Award and the valedictorian of her class, Connolly has maintained an A average in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play soccer at the University of South Carolina this fall.
A four-year class officer with the Gorham High Interact Club, Connolly has volunteered locally as part of multiple fundraising campaigns to benefit children’s cancer research. She has also donated her time to the Animal Refuge League and as a youth soccer coach.
