Athletic Excellence


The 6-foot-1 junior right-handed pitcher and third baseman beat some of the top club travel teams in the country throughout the fall and winter while playing for Top Gun National. Benning featured a fastball that reached 69 mph while posting a 9-1 record with a 1.47 earned run average and 104 strikeouts in 65.1 innings pitched. Benning led Stillwater to a runner-up finish in the Class 4A state tournament as a sophomore, a year after earning the win as the Ponies claimed the 2018 state title. She is ranked as the nation’s No. 41 recruit in the Class of 2021 by Extra Inning Softball.

Academic Achievement


Benning has maintained a weighted 3.89 GPA in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to play softball on scholarship at the University of Oregon beginning in the fall of 2021.

Exemplary Character


A member of her school newspaper staff, Benning has volunteered locally at a food bank and homeless shelter, and she has donated her time as a youth softball coach.
