At the time of his selection, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound senior running back and linebacker had led the Rockets (12-0) to the best record in program history and a berth in the Division I state championship. Williams rushed for 1,640 yards and 23 touchdowns through 12 games. On defense, the 2023 Boston Herald All-Scholastic selection recorded 64 tackles along with three interceptions and one fumble recovery.
Williams has maintained a 3.8 GPA in the classroom. At the time of his selection, he had made a verbal commitment to receive athletic aid to play football on scholarship at Lehigh University next fall.
A National Honor Society member, Williams has volunteered locally by fundraising to support cancer research. He has also served on Needham High’s student-athlete leadership team and as a youth basketball and football coach.
