Athletic Excellence

The 5-foot-3 senior midfielder and forward scored 18 goals and passed for 17 assists this past season, leading the Crusaders (16-1) to the Class 6A state quarterfinals. The Class 6A Player of the Year, Cox was also the co-Player of the Year in the Metro League. A 2023 United Soccer Coaches Youth All-American selection based on play with her club team, the Portland Thorns, she participated in the High School All-American Game last fall.

Academic Achievement

Cox has maintained a 3.99 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer on scholarship at Texas Christian University this fall.

Exemplary Character

A Jesuit High student ambassador, Cox has volunteered locally at a soccer camp for underserved children and as a peer tutor. She has also donated her time as part of multiple fundraising campaigns to benefit the Children’s Cancer Association.
