At the time of his selection, the 6-foot-4, 235-pound senior right-handed pitcher and infielder had compiled a 3-2 record on the mound with a 0.50 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 28 innings. Davis also batted .333 with two home runs and 12 RBI through 13 games, recording a 1.075 OPS to go along with four stolen bases. A three-time Vermont All-Metro pitcher, he is also a 1,000-point scorer for Colchester’s basketball team.
Davis has maintained a 3.85 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at Bryant University (R.I.) this fall.
A member of the National Honor Society, Davis has volunteered locally as a math tutor and basketball camp counselor. He has also participated in Colchester’s Student-Athlete Athletic Council.
