The 6-foot-4, 240-pound junior defensive end recorded 39 tackles and four sacks during an abbreviated three-game fall season for the Cats. A two-time First Team All-New England Prep School Athletic Council selection, Aybar is ranked as the nation’s No. 112 recruit in the Class of 2022 by ESPN.com and is considering more than 20 scholarship offers from high-major Division I programs. He concluded his junior year with 177 tackles and 18.5 sacks in his prep football career.
Aybar has maintained a B-plus average in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
A native of Fall River, Mass., Aybar has volunteered as a youth football coach.
