“Whitney achieved those accomplishments with many days of sweat and hard work. Whitney is a wonderful young lady and a very awesome runner, who has had many, many accomplishments over her high school running career. Whitney achieved those accomplishments with many days of sweat and hard work. She is the ultimate competitor in all that she does, be it in the classroom or cross country course. The biggest difference for Whitney this year has been the transformation she took herself through over the last year. She transformed her body, her mind and became a different individual by doing so. Whitney is such a deserving individual for the Gatorade Player of the Year award.”
