The 5-foot-10 junior guard had led the Matadors to a 21-4 record and the Class 5A state tournament at the time of her selection. Cumber averaged 22.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.3 steals through 25 games. A three-year varsity regular, Cumber was a First-Team All-Metro selection and District Player of the Year in 2019.
Cumber has maintained a weighted 4.01 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
Cumber has volunteered locally with the Festival of Trees, which raises money for children with physical challenges, and she has helped distribute groceries to low-income families on behalf of the Palo Duro Senior Center. Cumber has also donated her time as a youth servant at the Calvary Church.
