The 6-foot-2, 200-pound senior shortstop led the Wildcats to a 33-5 record and the Class A state championship this past season. Lewis batted .496 with eight home runs and 41 RBI while scoring 53 runs. He compiled a .579 on-base percentage and 1.491 OPS while also stealing 31 bases. Named to Perfect Game’s 2024 Midwest Preseason Dream Team, he ranks as MLB Pipeline’s No. 43 overall draft prospect.
Lewis has maintained a 3.86 weighted GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at Arkansas this fall, but is projected to be an early round selection in July’s 2024 Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft.
Lewis has volunteered locally with the Yutan Youth Baseball Camp. He has also participated in Millard West’s Leadership Academy.
