The 5-foot-4 senior distance talent was the top prep finisher in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the USATF U20 Championships this past season, taking fifth in 10:38.33 to clock the No. 2 time in the nation this spring and the No. 10 time in girls prep history. Fawbush also earned All-American honors with a silver medal in the 2K steeplechase at Nike Outdoor Nationals, then broke the tape in the 2K steeplechase at the Steepleville Invitational with a time of 6:45.14—the No. 6 time in the country in 2024. She graduated as the state record-holder in both steeplechase events and she won the KHSAA Class 3A state title in the 1600. Her personal-best 4:45.36 in that event in March ranked No. 25 among the nation’s girls prep competitors in 2024.
