At the time of his selection, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound senior shortstop had led the Eagles to a 32-8 record and a berth in the Class 6 semifinals this season. Ranked as the state’s No. 1 prospect by Perfect Game, Snyder batted .391 with seven home runs through 40 games, producing 36 RBI, 46 runs and 22 stolen bases while compiling a 1.164 OPS. He is a two-time Class 6 state champion and First Team All-State selection and was a 2023 Perfect Game All-American Game invitee.
Snyder has maintained a 3.98 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at the University of Tennessee this fall.
A member of the National Honor Society, Snyder has volunteered locally as a peer tutor as well as a youth baseball, football and basketball coach. He also completed an internship at a sports radio station.
