The 5-foot-8, 145-pound junior point guard averaged 23.3 points, 4.1 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 43 percent outside the arc this past season, leading the Camels (17-10) to the Class 4A semifinals. A First Team All-State selection, Hladky led all of Class 4A in both points scored and assists per contest.
Hladky has maintained a B average in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
A member of the Wyoming High School Athletic Association's student advisory council, he wrote and recorded a song to promote suicide prevention awareness and has volunteered locally as a youth basketball coach. "Trey Hladky is a great competitor who can singlehandedly bring his team back from any deficit by making difficult shots, getting his teammates open and getting steals on defense," said Jeff Martini, head coach at Sheridan High. "He plays with an aggressiveness and a will to win that most kids lack."
