The 6-foot-2, 145-pound junior midfielder and forward scored nine goals and passed for four assists this past season, leading the No. 18 seed Mustangs (10-8) to the Class 6A state championship. Walk capped Herriman’s state tournament run by scoring the championship game’s only goal with two seconds remaining on the clock. He is a two-time All-State honoree.
Walk has maintained a 3.23 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
A Life Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, Walk has volunteered locally on behalf of youth soccer programs.
