The 6-foot-2, 170-pound senior won two individual events and anchored the 4x100 relay quartet that broke the tape at the Class 3A state meet this past season, leading the Vikings to second place as a team. Lambert won the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.55 seconds and the 200 in 21.97, while also placing second in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles.
Lambert has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete in track and field on scholarship at Kansas State University beginning this fall.
A devoted member of his church youth group, Lambert has participated on a service-mission trip to assist hurricane victims and has volunteered locally on behalf of an assisted living facility.
