The 5-foot-8, 130-pound senior raced to the Class 1A individual state championship this past season with a time of 15:22.4. Proctor finished second at the Foot Locker West Regional championships and placed seventh nationally at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships in 15:10.6, earning All-American honors in the process. He also broke the tape at both the Sundodger Invitational and the Emerald City League championships.
Proctor has maintained a 3.77 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete in cross country and track and field on scholarship at the University of Washington this fall.
Proctor has volunteered locally on behalf of a food bank and youth summer camps. "There's no question, he's the nicest kid and the best leader that I have ever coached," said Northwest School coach Joe Bisignano. "He's a humble kid who just loves the opportunity to race, celebrates the rare kid who beats him, and cheers everyone on after he finishes."
