The 5-foot-7, 140-pound senior forward led Class 4A in scoring this past season, netting 34 goals and passing for 25 assists to spark the Broncs (18-1) to the state title. A three-time All-State selection and a member of the West Region Olympic Development Program team, Opler graduates as the school’s career scoring leader (93 goals) as well as the single-season goals (34) and assists (tied with 25) record-holder. He is a two-time team captain, a three-time state champion and anchored an attack that outscored opponents 134-3 this spring. He scored three goals, including the game-winner, in the state championship game.
Opler has maintained a 3.94 GPA in the classroom. He will attend Colorado College this fall, where he will play soccer.
A member of the Teton Mountaineering Club, Opler has donated his time as a Jackson Hole Youth Soccer coach.
