The 5-foot-11, 230-pound senior took second in the shot put at the 2020 Great Southwest Classic Indoor Invitational, launching a personal-best throw of 55-feet-5.25-inches, which ranked as the nation’s No. 85 performance among prep indoor competitors this year. At the 2019 NMAA Outdoor State Championships, Glenn won the Class 5A title in the javelin, took second in the shot put and finished 4th in the discus. A 16-time USATF All-American and a member of the MileSplitNM.com All-Decade Team in the javelin, his personal-best javelin throw of 197-1 in 2019 ranked as the nation’s No. 35 performance among prep competitors last year. He graduates as the owner of two state meet titles along with three silver medals and two bronze.
Glenn has maintained a weighted GPA of 3.79 in the classroom. He began Basic Cadet Training on June 24 and will compete in track and field at the United States Air Force Academy.
An All-State guitarist and a nine-time varsity letterman in football, wrestling and track, Glenn has volunteered locally by performing groundskeeping and maintenance at both the Albuquerque Academy campus and Barrett House, a social services organization. He has also donated his time to the Road Runner Food Bank and the Watermelon Mountain Ranch Animal Shelter, in addition to serving as a tutor for elementary school students.
