The 5-foot-11, 210-pound senior catcher led the Saxons to a 19-9 record and a berth in the 6A state tournament this past season. Scott batted .558 with a state-best 11 homers, scoring 46 runs, and swiping 22 bases on his way to compiling an OPS of 1.897. Behind the plate, he threw out six of 19 attempted base-stealers through 28 games. Ranked as the nation’s No. 214 prospect in his class by Perfect Game, he also participated in USA Baseball’s 2024 16U/17U National Team Development Program and played for the 2023 USA Baseball U15 National Team.
Scott has maintained a 3.91 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play baseball at Oregon State University this fall.
An avid game hunter, Scott has volunteered locally with South Salem’s Unified Program, which pairs youth athletes with intellectually challenged peers in celebration of sport. He has also donated his time as a youth baseball instructor.
