The 5-foot-7 senior right-handed pitcher and first baseman led the Falcons to a 26-0 record and the Class 4A state championship this past season. Rhinehart posted a 14-0 mark in the circle to go with a 0.40 earned run average and two saves. She struck out 157 batters in 87 innings pitched, allowing 35 hits and issuing 13 walks. At the plate, the KingCo MVP batted .417 with eight doubles, 26 RBI and a .643 slugging percentage.
Rhinehart has maintained a 3.79 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play softball on scholarship at Villanova University beginning this fall.
Rhinehart has volunteered locally with the Woodinville High Link Crew and as a youth softball coach. "Taylor is the complete deal," said Tony Batinovich, head coach of Puyallup High. "Mentally, nothing appeared to phase her. She puts a whole lot of spin and movement on the ball. They would not be the same without her."
