The 5-foot-5 senior forward and midfielder scored 39 goals and passed for 20 assists this past season, leading the Lions (17-6) to the Conference 6A state semifinals. The 6A State Player of the Year, Thomason recorded 13 multi-goal games including six hat tricks. A two-time First Team All-State selection, she concluded her two-year prep soccer career with 54 goals and 36 assists.
Thomason has maintained a 3.70 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer on scholarship at the University of Washington this fall.
A member of the leadership team of her local chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Thomason has volunteered locally for eight years at a Christmas party for homeless and struggling students at a Phoenix-area elementary school. She has also donated her time as a peer math tutor and as a youth soccer coach.
