The 5-foot-5 junior broke the state record in the pole vault this past season, clearing 13 feet, one inch to win the event at the Division 1 state meet. The state’s returning Gatorade Girls Track & Field Player of the Year, Moku also won state titles in the 100-meter high hurdles, with a time of 15.18, and the long jump, with a leap of 18 feet. She took fourth in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles.
Moku has maintained a 3.50 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
Moku has volunteered locally on behalf of the Special Olympics and with youth track programs.
