The 5-foot-8, 185-pound senior shortstop and outfielder led the Wolves (25-7) to the Class 5A state championship this past season. Southisene batted .495 with nine home runs, 50 runs scored and 33 RBI, stealing 16 bases without being caught. Ranked as the nation’s No. 21 prospect in the Class of 2025 by Perfect Game, he is a three-time First Team All-State selection and was a 2024 Dick’s Sporting Goods All-American Classic invitee.
Southisene has maintained a 4.18 weighted GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play baseball at the University of Southern California this fall but is projected as a first round selection in July’s Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft.
Southisene has volunteered locally on behalf of his temple and as a youth baseball coach.
