The 6-foot-2, 180-pound senior guard had led the Little Cyclones to a 22-3 record and the Class 4A state championship game at the time of his selection. Lipsey averaged 15.9 points, 6.2 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 2.5 steals through 25 games. An Elite All-State selection as a junior, he’s also a three-time First Team All-Conference honoree.
Lipsey has maintained a 3.79 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball on scholarship at Iowa State University this fall.
Also a football and track standout, Lipsey has served as a mentor for elementary school students and has volunteered locally on behalf of Upward Flag Football, which partners with churches to leverage the power of sports to achieve and increase the impact of their mission.
