The 5-foot-10 junior right-handed pitcher and first baseman led the Tigers to a 33-4 record and the Class 5A state championship this past season. Tretton compiled a 17-2 record in the circle with a 1.70 ERA, striking out 193 batters in 119.2 innings. Ranked as the nation’s No. 25 recruit in the Class of 2024 by Extra Inning Softball, she batted .500 with 14 home runs, 14 doubles, 47 RBI and a 1.047 slugging percentage.
Tretton has maintained a weighted 3.89 GPA in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to play softball on scholarship at the University of Iowa beginning in the fall of 2024.
Tretton has volunteered locally with Douglas High’s Block D, a club sponsored by the athletic department that provides Thanksgiving dinners to those in need. She’s also donated her time as a youth softball coach.
