The 5-foot-7 junior midfielder led the Jaguars to a 24-1-2 record and the UIL 6A state championship this past season. Becerra scored 15 goals and passed for 20 assists, including setting up both goals in Flower Mound’s 2-1 win over Vandegrift High in the state final. A member of the U.S. Soccer Under-18 Women’s National Team training pool, she is ranked as the nation’s No. 43 recruit in the Class of 2022 by TopDrawerSoccer.com.
Becerra has maintained a weighted 3.88 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school next fall, but will miss the spring soccer season by availing herself of NCAA early signing rules. Becerra will ink a financial-aid agreement that paves the way for her to enroll at Texas A&M after graduating high school this coming December.
Becerra has volunteered locally as a youth soccer coach, and she has donated her time with multiple community service initiatives through her church youth group.
