The 6-foot-2 setter led the Trojans (34-0) to the Class AAAA state title this past season, recording 877 assists en route to winning the Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association Ms. Baden Award as the state’s best player. A three-time Gatorade Player of the Year and four-time All-State selection, Swenson averaged 9.9 assists per set and compiled 215 digs along with 140 kills on the strength of a .399 hitting percentage. Ranked as the nation’s No. 8 recruit in her class by PrepDig, she also had 63 service aces and 53 blocks.
Swenson has maintained a 3.46 weighted GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball on scholarship at the University of Minnesota beginning this fall.
Swenson has volunteered locally at multiple assisted living facilities and maintains active friendships with residents.
