The 5-foot-5 freshman broke the tape at the New Hampshire Meet of Champions his past season, clocking a personal-best 17:59.60 to finish 13.3 seconds ahead of her next-closest competitor. She also won the Division 2 State Meet individual title with the fastest all-class time of the day (18:32.90). The state’s top performer in finishing second at the New England Cross Country Championship with a time of 18:42.40, Reynolds missed qualifying for nationals by one place, taking 11th at the Foot Locker Northeast Regional championships in 18:30.80.
Reynolds has maintained a 98.6 average in the classroom. She will begin her sophomore year of high school this fall.
A nanny and primary caregiver for a family with three young children last summer, she has volunteered locally as a middle school cross country instructor, and also helped organize a summer youth running program in the area. Additionally, she has donated her time to multiple charity fundraiser road races.
