The 5-foot-10 senior midfielder scored 11 goals and passed for 5 assists this past season, leading the Magicians (8-5-3) to the state tournament. Lewis is a three-time First Team All-State selection and was named the Western Dakota Association Senior of the Year.
Lewis has maintained a 3.83 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer on scholarship at Minot State University this fall.
Also a talented violinist, Lewis is a member of the Spanish Honor Society and Future Educators of America, and has volunteered locally on behalf of food donation drives and community clean-up initiatives. "Sofia Lewis is one of the best soccer players I've seen in my six years in North Dakota girls high school sports," said Jack West, head coach at St. Mary's High. "She's very dedicated and she has the best vision, foot skills and mentality."
