She’s destined to pitch at the most competitive level, and I would not doubt that she is the best high school pitcher in New York right now. Her numbers speak for themselves—she was at the point where most teams just didn’t want to have Mahopac on their schedule.”

Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot senior right-handed pitcher led the Indians (19-1) to the Section 1 Class AA championship this past season. The state’s returning Gatorade Softball Player of the Year, Becker posted a 19-1 record with a 0.00 ERA, surrendering just 29 hits and 19 walks in 139 innings pitched while striking out 286 batters. A two-time All-State honoree, she also batted .470 with 17 RBI. She was ranked as the nation’s No. 9 prospect in the Class of 2021 by Extra Inning Softball.

Academic Achievement

Becker has maintained an A average in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball on scholarship at the University of Notre Dame this fall.

Exemplary Character

Also a basketball and soccer standout, Becker is a member of her school’s Student Athletic Council and has volunteered locally on behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and youth sports programs.
