The 6-foot-3, 190-pound senior guard had led the Phoenix to a 24-3 record and the Division 1 sectional finals at the time of his selection. Trimble averaged 27.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.7 blocks through 26 games. The Greater Metro Conference Player of the Year, he is a First Team All-State honoree and was selected to participate in the National High School Slam Dunk contest. Trimble is ranked as the nation’s No. 27 prospect in the Class of 2022 by 247Sports.
Trimble has maintained a 3.29 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of North Carolina this fall.
Trimble has served as a mentor for a local elementary school student, has volunteered on behalf of youth sports camps in addition to helping to create his school’s Awareness of Racial Inequality club.
